Before I share my thoughts about this one, let me just say it’s originally a Russell pick, and we all know you really can’t go wrong with a Russell pick.
That said, this is a quality wine. It’s made from several different vineyards in Sonoma county. It doesn’t have the strong fruit flavor that the Ravenswood does and it’s not really bold like some wines, but it’s just so full and smooth. A little oaky, and perhaps a little touch of cherry – this is a great wine with any beef. I like it so much, I even drink it with chicken. A must try
